In our school there are two well equipped labs. There are around 37 seats allotted to the stream of textile designing in our school. Workshops are held for various subjects of textile i.e. block printing, Hand Painting, dyeing etc.
State level competition in the field of Textile is held annually.
OJT(On job training)is held in the month of may every year. In which students prepare articles and sell the same at different venues held by the department. as vocational education helps in the growth of our country through self employment .Our students are guided/trained in such a manner so as to empower themselves in the field of textile and they go for higher education in professional colleges. We have been winning prizes and overall trophy almost every year. students have been achieving good percentage in CBSE board exams. And two students of textile designing got highest percentage in allover vocational exams at +2 level.
